Hello. Welcome to the “Experience This!” blog, a forum devoted to the rants and raves of the customer experience. I began this blog for two reasons. First, because my 20-plus years in brand marketing has made me a true believer in the notion that the single most efficient, authentic and proven way for a company to build a brand is to cultivate engaged customers through their daily experiences. Second, as a consumer, I have been dismayed and appalled at the inability of companies to pull this off successfully. Despite all of our collective wisdom, superior technology, and high-budget Madison Avenue “branding”, we still have not mastered the simple common sense notion of pleasing a customer – Welcome, Please, Thank You. With that said, welcome to my blog, I hope it becomes yours as well. Please feel free to leave your rants about companies that have failed you by providing a poor customer experience. Or rave about them when they treat you right. And thank you for reading this!
